Block 9: Cable Hearts

The story behind this Block

This is a beautiful textured pattern, a lovely repeating pattern. What do you see in it?

I see hearts in this, repeating hearts, a chain of hearts. Try to live from your heart instead of your mind.

Below is one of my favourite quotes :

You can also see it as the repetition of your work, your week. If there are many repeating things in your life, if you or your friends always say “… and how are you?” and the answer is “busy”!! Then remember…it takes courage to say yes to rest, and to play in a culture where exhaustion is seen as a status symbol!

Het verhaal achter dit blok

Dit is mooi kabelpatroon, een heerlijk terugkerend patroon. Wat zie jij hierin?

Ik zie er harten in, herhaalde harten, een ketting van harten. Probeer vanuit je hart te leven in plaats vanuit je gedachten.

Je kan het ook zien als een herhaling van je werk, je week. Als er veel herhaling is in je leven , of als jij en je vrienden altijd het volgende zeggen “… en hoe gaat het met je?” En je antwoord is “druk"!! Denk dan aan het volgende ….het vergt moed om ja te zeggen tegen rusten en spelen in een cultuur waar uitputting wordt gezien als een status symbol!!!
